The terms that apply when you use lovepaint.co.uk and when you order from us.

Using This Website

You must use our website lawfully and not misuse it — for example, by attempting to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, or interfere with other customers' use of it. Colour previews (such as our room visualiser) are a guide to help you choose a colour; actual paint colour can vary slightly depending on your screen, lighting and the surface it's applied to.

Account Terms

If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for any orders placed through your account. Let us know straight away if you think your account has been accessed without your permission.

Placing an Order

When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy. A contract is formed once we accept your order — we'll confirm this by email. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable or there's been a pricing error, in which case we'll let you know and refund any payment taken.

Pricing & Payment

All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Payment is taken securely through Stripe at checkout; we don't see or store your full card details. We take reasonable care to ensure prices are correct, but if we discover an error we'll contact you before proceeding.

Mixed-to-Order Paint & Your Cancellation Rights

Because your paint is mixed to your own colour specification, it is made-to-order and cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged once mixing has started — except where it's faulty or not as described (see our Returns & Refunds Policy).

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (regulation 28(1)(b)), the standard 14-day right to cancel a distance-selling order does not apply to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised — which includes our mixed-to-order paint. This doesn't affect your statutory rights if your order arrives faulty or not as described.

Delivery

We currently deliver to UK addresses only. Delivery options, timescales and pricing are set out on our Delivery Information page and are shown clearly at checkout before you pay.

Risk & Title

Risk in your order passes to you when it's delivered. Ownership passes to you once we've received payment in full.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including our branding, colour visualiser tools, and site design — belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse it without our permission.

Liability

We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that's a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or acting negligently, but we're not responsible for losses that aren't foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't lawfully be limited or excluded.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.

If something's gone wrong, please contact us first so we can put it right. We aim to respond to all complaints promptly.
